Enhancement of Multimedia Elements in A Mobile Learning Application: Learning Japanese Is Fun

Kajian ini akan meneliti penambahbaikan elemen multimedia dalam aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Jepun berasaskan mudah alih, berpandukan projek pelajar bertajuk Learning Japanese is Fun. Aplikasi ini dibangunkan untuk pelajar peringkat asas bahasa Jepun melalui penggunaan elemen multimedia seperti teks, audio, video, animasi, dan grafik. Kajian ini akan dijalankan menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan melalui soal selidik atas talian yang menyasarkan pelajar Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) yang mengambil kursus berkaitan multimedia, bagi mengenal pasti keutamaan pengguna terhadap elemen multimedia dalam aplikasi pembelajaran, menganalisis kekuatan dan kelemahan elemen multimedia dan mencadangkan strategi penambahbaikan elemen berdasarkan maklum balas pengguna. Persoalan utama kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan elemen multimedia yang mempengaruhi keberkesanan aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa berdasarkan persepsi pengguna. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa pelajar UIS memberikan respons yang positif terhadap penggunaan elemen multimedia dalam aplikasi tersebut. Responden turut mengenal pasti beberapa kelemahan seperti teks yang berlebihan, warna yang kurang sesuai dan audio yang tidak jelas, yang perlu diberi perhatian dalam penambahbaikan aplikasi. Hasil kajian ini diharap dapat membantu pembangun aplikasi mengenal pasti aspek yang perlu dipertingkatkan terlebih dahulu bagi meningkatkan keberkesanan pembelajaran bahasa melalui pendekatan digital.
