In the current revolution of the digital era, the field of education is not left behind in undergoing a transformation towards andragogy and pedagogy digitally. In line with the Movement Control Order (MCO) implemented by the Malaysian government to curb the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, online learning methods are a necessity. All educational institutions, whether higher or lower level of education in Malaysia, have no other choice but to use virtual teaching and learning methods to ensure that the teaching syllabus can be delivered as well as possible so that learning sessions are not delayed. Yet, the extent to which school students accept these new norms in learning sessions is in terms of their emotional readiness. This became the objective of this study. The scope of the study is among secondary school students only around the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor because in this area the Internet network is more stable as this research not focusing on technical issues. Teenagers are the age group that is most critical of their emotional levels towards life. Questionnaires were distributed online to approximately one hundred plus students. The findings of the study found that in general, these students still expect eagerly to go to school as usual. Online learning causes them to be less understanding and difficult to focus while online. This is because they are more excited to do other things like play online games, watch television, the house environment like distraction from family members and online games. In conclusion, although the study group consists of students who are in the city, which not related to the technical problems, but they still face problems in facing the new norms in online learning. Which this is due to disruption to their emotions and mental resilience.
